Ok, I'm late to the party as usual, but here's my Top 5(s), in no particular order:

Old school:
1) Police Story - oh, the fluidity of Jackie Chan
2) Snake In The Eagle's Shadow - see above
3) Enter The Dragon - of course
4) Bloodsport - remember seeing this twice in two days :)
5) The Last Dragon - film that made me start Kung Fu (a long time ago)

Bonus(es): Fist Of Legend, Once Upon A Time In China - Jet Li, new and old, both great films

New school:
1) Ong Bak / Warrior King - lots of knees and elbows, what's not to like?
2) Drive - Mark Dacascos is one skilled dude, very cool that Loco worked on that as well, great film
3) Kiss Of The Dragon - a nice, hard-core Jet Li, very brutal
4) Undisputed 2 - not being obsequious, really enjoyed the film, and not just for the fight scenes
5) Brotherhood Of The Wolf - not strictly MA, but has Mark Dacascos in and is a great story

And for motivation for training: Rocky III !!!!

Kind regards,

Mike K.

Okay, I'm new to this forum, and this is my first post so I better make it a good one!

Would just like to let Scott know how awesome I think he is, I have only recently discovered his talents, after blind buying undisputed 2 while I went through a phase watching loads of martial arts films.

I instantly did a bit of research and ended up here.

I write scripts for action/comedy films and currently have three in the pipeline (Vigil-Auntie - The Conductor - Chiff Spiffing: Upper Class Action Hero) and when I write them I envisage either Scott or Jason Statham in the role!

Ok, heres my top ten MA films (in no particular order):

1. Undisputed 2
2. KickBoxer
3. Lyonheart
4. Warrior King
5. Drive
6. Rumble in The Bronx
7. Mortal Kombat (I know, I know...)
8. The One
9. BloodSport
10. Unleashed

The movie is pretty old, 1978 i think. It's my fav MA movie because it has both awesome martial arts but at the same time it's very funny(as in meant to be not hilariously bad :) . I'd advice you guys to watch it. You get to see a 20 year old Yuen Biao showcase his extraordinary skills.

I found a trailer in YT

Giangrosso, you're a big fan of the movie Ip Man right?? I think you should watch Prodigal Son. It's the movie that landed Sammo Hung the part as fight choreographer in Ip Man. And it's also one hell of a movie.

I hear Ho-Sung Pak is an ass hat IRL but his fight scenes are awesome in book of swords and fist of the warrior as he is who Liu Kang in the mortal kombat games is based off of like van damme is the inspiration for johnny and cynthia rothrock was the inspiration for sonya.

Yep, Yuen Biao is the lead in the Prodigal Son. Then we have the awesome Sammo Hung and Lam Ching Yim as co-stars.
