No, it's a sequel not a prequel. But prequel would be fun if they decided to make another one.

Does anyone think Boyka fights Dolar twice?

Only reason I say this is because some photos of Boyka vs Dolar on Scott's website show Scott's knee wrapped, which I assumed tied into his injury from UD2. I would think by the time he got to the final fight his knee would be wrecked.

But a lot of the shots of Boyka vs Dolar in the trailer show him with no knee brace.

For example, at look 1:25 of the trailer (if you can pause it). It shows Boyka vs Dolar but I do not see a brace on his knee.

Now look at 1:43 (superman punch). You can clearly see a knee wrap on Boyka's right knee.

Do they fight twice ala UD2? Does he wrap it between rounds? Is this just a mistake?

This is what makes trailers so fun. Gives us something to talk about before the movie comes out.

it could be the same formula as number two with two fights of wich he looses one.....we also see him get his ass kicked basically the whole time by dolar except the punches in the end...man can´t wait to see this one!!!

A guy named Todd at Beyondhollywood.com doesn't think that good of Undisputed 3 even after seeing the trailer.

Funny thing I just noticed:

Walter Hill has directed the first Undisputed movie. He has also directed the movie Last Man Standing. Isaac Florentine has directed Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing. Get it?

Yes I got it but actually the original title was Undisputed 2 and it's known like that in most of the countries. Last Man Standing was added by New Line for the North American release.

Now that you mentioned it, here in Finland it is basically also known as Undisputed 2, but it has been translated to something like "Steelcage 2" in Finnish, but no Last Man Standing at the title. They tend to translate nearly every movie title here, sometimes they do well, sometimes they fail utterly.

Incidentally, Last Man Standing was based on the great Akira Kurosawa film, Yojimbo, starring Sonny Chiba I preferred Last Man Standing tho

I thought to post some of my thoughts about the trailer. Like giangrosso said, I also do believe that all the juicy parts are seen in the final movie, the trailer only showed some punches and kicks, but that's all. It's quite easy to spoil the movie with the trailer by showing too much in it. We see Lateef Crowder being shot in the trailer, something I wouldn't have necessarily wanted to know at this stage. Still, with the trailer, they played in the safe side just in case, and I think that's a good idea. I understood that J.J.Perry has said that Scott and Lateef are going to fight in UD3, that is a match I wouldn't want to miss. We have so much potential here to have awesome fights, I wish I could make the time go faster just to see the movie
