You are a phenonminal athlete and a gifted martial artist.
How much time do you dedicate every day to your training?

Hi Scott!

In his interviews for The Bank Job, action man Jason Statham said he would love to do a romantic comedy at some point, is this something you would consider doing or would you rather stick to kicking ass?

Hi Scott

Was wondering if you are going to do any Kickboxing seminars soon because i would like to join PKA Kickboxing but i live in Devon and there isn't any schools here, also if you do have any seminars coming up is it possible to go even though im not a member of PKA.

Thank you for answering my question and i wish you good luck with your upcoming films especially undisputed 3 im really looking forward to that film.

Hi Scott!

I would love to knew how a sample training week in your live (like in the prep for UD3) now would look like...like how much time you spend on what kinda training and what (in rough) your diet looks like...

That would be awesome to know!

Hi Scott

Just a few hope you don't mind

1) Have you ever fought competitely (in what style and what's your tale of the tape)

2) What do you prefer, the action genres that your proving a success in or the more dramatic serious roles. Are there any serious films on the horizon for you?

3) When you receive a particular script, is there anyone you seek advice from? I.e. do you gain a truthful opinion from anyone before agreeing?

4) Given the circumstances of The Shepherd, it still sold reasonably well and you pretty much stole the show. Would you consider working with Jean Claude again - under stricter stipulations?

Hi Michelle,

My normal weekly training regimen would be weight training 3 times a week, running twice a week, gymnastics twice a week and martial arts twice a week but if I have an action film coming up then that training goes into overdrive to get my body ready for the consistant abuse. I'll normally ramp up the gymnastics and martial arts.

I guess most of my ability came to me when I was a teenager. When I was thirteen or fourteen I got mugged on a bus by 4 guys, I was never a tough kid and this must have flipped a switch in my brain. I turned my parents garage into a dojo. I had a punch bag, speed ball, makiwara, weights bench and I used to go in there after school every night without fail and train. There was even a shrine to Bruce Lee. I think I was living out my own No Retreat No Surrender movie without the ghost. Then when I was 21 I met a guy called Anthony Jones who had his own Kickboxing schools. I used to travel around around with him to all his classes and train at everyone which was pretty much every week night but on Sunday I would train 4 times in that day. That should give you a good idea of how much training I did.

Thanks for the kind words,

Scott.

Double Damme,

I love Jason, I've met him a few times and he's a great guy. Very funny. I'd certainly like to stretch myself as an actor so if the oppertunity came up then maybe but I'm aware of my strengths and right now I like kicking ass.

Ok, they change all the time though, off the top of my head:

1) The Departed
2) The Killer
3) Black Hawk Down
4) Gladiator
5) Goodfellas
6) Heat
7) Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
8) Reservoir Dogs
9) First Blood
10) Indiana Jones (First 3)

Looking back at that I guess I like Gangster movies.

Scott

It was awesome. 12 weeks in Sydney, can't complain. I wish I could talk more about it but all I'll say is that you will see some crazy action!!

Leon-Drago,

I may have some coming up but unfortunately it will be PKA exclusive. Maybe in the future.

Boyka,

I think I covered most of this above but diet wise for Boyka I ate a lot of protein but also a lot of everything, not junk food but I never felt hungry. For Ninja I wanted to lose some of the muscle I'd put on for Wolverine so I stopped weight training and just did cardio and ate either salmon or chicken & steamed veggies. That was pretty much it. I didn't really lose much muscle mass though, I guess it's there to stay. There's no secret to my training, I go in the gym to train hard and the results come from that. If I used to believe that you could overtrain quite easily but as long as you're getting enough sleep I think you can go and do weights almost everyday and still grow from it.

1) Never, just training in the gym.

2) I love acting and with all the TV work I've done I'd say I've done more straight roles than action roles but the action genre is where my real interest is but just because your in an action movie doesn't mean your not acting.

3) If it's an action script and they want to shoot it in some unrealistic time like 4 weeks then I don't do it. I'll talk to my agent about specific parts.

4) Never.

Those are som really cool fav you got. The departed is awesome but i prefer Infernal Affairs. Now i can't say no to The Killer. I even uploaded the long searched Soundtrack in youtube with other John Woo movies. I love first blood but Rambo 2 is way more awesome
