No, JJ Perry was the fight choreographer.

Scott,

1. do you know if Undisputed 2 or Ninja could be released in blue-ray format?

2. will there be any merchandise for Ninja like posters, t-shirts as i would be interested in buying some!

3. do u feel when ur on protein diet that your energy is very low? no suprise ur knackered after filming and training so hard!

1) I think it's fair to say that Ninja will be but I have no idea about Undisputed 2.

2) I think there should be as there is a ninja craze coming back but I have no idea. I would like some too.

3) Yes I'd never tried to get that ripped before and to be honest I think it backfired on me in the last week when we were actually filming the opening of the movie. I look really tired and guant. I'm still learning like we all are but you learn from experience.

scott, i know that you are only 3 years older than me and you are a huge fan of videogames. so i guess you had (just like i had) a sega mega drive console?

do you know the martial arts ninja cult games "SHADOW DANCER" and REVENGE OF SHINOBI"? the first one is with the white ninja and his dog. i loved that arcade game back in the late 80´s.

Vanberch,

I enjoy playing the Xbox 360. Haven't really got into a new game since GTA IV. I like first person shooters. Anyone playing Call Of Duty 4 might have shot Uri Boyka dead, good work!

I had a Sega Mega drive but apart from Sonic I can't remember any other games I played.

Hi Scott,

Do you have, or think you will have, your own dojo to train others? Thanks for your time.

I only recently gave up teaching Kickboxing so I'm no stranger to that. Maybe in the future it's something to think about. I really enjoyed teaching.

Hey scott! THX for all the detailed info!!!
Three more questions about your training...than I am done...I swear!

.)When you train martial arts...you train regular kickboxing classes, do you have some sort of sensei or trainer, or do you just train hollywood do with a sort of team?

.)what are your favourite weight exercises for the basic muscle groups....like thosse you jsut love to do..?

.) we know now about your tarining and your diet...but I just wanted to know how often and how long do you strech in an average trainingweek?...

Thx a lot mate, you are the best!!!

I can´t wait for the first pics from wolverine with you...and the fisrt scenes of ninja...also hope JJ posts soon the rehersal footage from TS (to see what you were up to) and that special vid of you!!!

THX for being such an inspiration!!!

I'm a member of the PKA so I would just go down to a local school and do some training.
Favourite exercises for basic muscle groups would be bench press and pull ups. I do squats a lot but can't say I enjoy doing it.
I will try and stretch after every work out but I've recently found that I need to be much more flexible all over and not just in my legs to avoid getting injured as much so I need to stretch everything much more often. Especially now that I'm into my 30's. Stretching is very important.

Hello Mr. Adkins,
To start off, I have to say that you are THE MAN!!! I tell people that to me, you're kind of like a modern day Hwang Jang-Lee with all the amazing kicks you can throw, but you're just such a versatile martial artist. When "Wolverine" came out last May, I went to see it with three of my friends on the day it came out. I was a bit different from them however, in that I'm both a comic book fan and a martial arts fan, and the whole time before it started, I was telling them that you were the one playing Weapon XI/Deadpool, but they hadn't seen "UD2", so they really didn't know what I was talking about, but I was pointing out things like the Guyver kick and things of that sort all through the end fight. More recently, I loaned my copy of "Ninja" to a friend of mine in my dojo. He's still pretty new to martial arts, but he was so blown away!!!

I kind of interested if we'll learn anything about Boyka's past in UD3. I said recently that to me, Boyka is kind of like seeing a Shaolin Monk in MMA rules, because his fighting style is so similar and he's such a powerhouse, and also he's basically either training or praying whenever he's out of the ring. Will UD3 reveal anything about how Boyka got started in martial arts or how he ended up in prison?

Next, I think you may have already answered about how to learn the Guyver kick, but I'm really interested in learning how to do backflips, somersualts, 720 degree kicks, etc. I can do traditional kicks and all the jumping, flying, and spinning kicks really well already, but I'm really keen on training myself to do these sorts of things, but I don't really know where to start.
Also, are you a Tekken fan? It's one of the best martial arts video games ever created, but it's taking FOREVER to make it into theaters, at least in the U.S. It just went into theaters in Japan, and it'll be on DVD in Britain on April 5, although to me it's a travesty that it would go straight to DVD anywhere, but that means you should be able to see it before most of us.

My next question is what would you say are the worst and the best things about doing martial arts on film? I'm framing that question Worst and Best because I like to save the best for last ;)

The last thing I'd like to ask is why do you think that Hollywood is always making martial arts films where the stars have little to no martial arts experience and train for a month to do it semi-decently, but usually look pretty bad, while all the real martial artists in Hollywood or imports from Asia usually go straight to DVD, even though they're almost always 20 times better? I think it has something to with Hollywood working backwards from getting people like Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore that everyone knows because they trust that they can put butts in the seats even if they only have minimal training, but for the most part, they aren't willing to take a risk on real martial artists who are known mostly by fans of the genre, but I'm not an insider, so that's just a theory.

But lastly, I just want to emphasize again that you're such a hero of mine. Seeing the way you can sidekick with your left leg gave me the motivation to improve my left leg sidekick, which was by far my worst kick, and just about the only one that I really wasn't any good at. So thanks again, Mr. Adkins, for taking the time to listen to your fans questions and we'll always continue cheering you on!!!

Scott,
Firstly, thanks for putting the West Midlands on the MMA/movie map! It's always nice to see a local guy going places and making it big =]

Secondly, of all the movie fight scenes you've seen over the years, which of them has been your favourite and why?

Thirdly, you played a footballer in The Pink Panther? Do you follow and football teams back in England?

Lastly, me and some friends recently held one of our film nights in tribute to you, watching Undisputed 2 and Ninja. So if you would like to make a guest appearance near your hometown in future you're more than welcome.

Keep up the good work [along with your Brummy accent!]

Scott,

Thanks for taking the time to answer some fans questions. Here are a few I had.

1.) Seems like shooting a fight scene always has issues. What would be the ideal environment to film the best final fight scene of a movie? Who would be your co-star, director, fight choreographer, and how many days to rehearse and shoot the scene?

2.) Would you have any interest in remaking any movie such as Bloodsport? Maybe a slightly different story, better fight scenes, bigger budget?

3.) Do you have any interest in writing or directing films?

Thanks Scott!

Hi Mr. Adkins,
I'm a huge martial arts fan, ever since I was a little kid I have looked up to many of the great martial artists and admired their dedication, discipline, focus and way of life that is demonstrated through their prefered art. Before seeing Undisputed 2 Bruce Lee was at the top of my list of greats, I have to say that you are now my favorite martial artist. I am 24 years old and I have dabbled in a few fighting disciplines but I am nowhere near your level, my questions to you are:what is it that pushes you to do what you do best, if you could be taught by any historical figure who would it be and any advice to fellow admirers and martil artists alike?

Hi Scott,

First of all, I would like to say I'm a fan of yours and I count you as one of the most promising on-screen fighter of the next generation. Without further ado, here are my questions:

1.) I heard a rumor that you had a chance to appear in The Expendables. Is this true? and if so, can you enlighten us on what happened? It would have been cool to see you in it.

2.) How is everything going along so far on the Turkish film Dark Deal? Can you give us any details about your role and what can we expect actionwise? What is it like working with Cyril Raffaelli?

3.) In Undisputed 2 and 3, you played Uri Boyka, a malevolent Russian fighter. I was impress not only by your monstrous physical capabilities but how you were able to capture a convincing Russian accent and bring a menacing performance. As an actor, how did you prepare for this character?

Thanks and all the best,
