Thanks again Scoot for all thoose answeres!!! Its cool to hear about your training and your diet and I was very happy to hear your honest view on JC and TS!!!!

Just one more thing....when did you start gymnastics? At what age ...did they come easy for you? Do you had a course or supervised training or was it jsut you and some guys hitting the mats?

Boyka,

It did come easy for me, I started when I was 18 but I could already do sommersaults and back flips. I've always had good spring in my step.

I started martial arts aged 10. Judo was first, then Tae Kwon-Do which I gave up at Red Belt (belt beow Black) and then Kickboxing. I only have a Black Belt in Kickboxing, however I've studied lots of martial arts for different reasons. I started gymnastics when I was 18, quite late really.

Well, I guess they have to change your profile in wikipedia because it's written there:

Scott Adkins (born 17 June 1976) is an English actor who is perhaps best known for playing Bradley Hume in Holby City. Adkins has also appeared in Dangerfield, Hollyoaks, City Central, A Touch of Frost, EastEnders, Doctors, Undisputed 2 and The Shepherd: Border Patrol.

Hi, Scott

it's really kind of you to spend some of your time answering fans' questions.

By the way I think it's a good choice when you mentioned that Nathan Jones is one of your dream cast to join Undisputed 3. Boyka against him would be awesome!!!

I have a couple of questions:

1. Do you have any info if Ninja is going to be released in theaters or DTV? Or did any US distribution company buy the rights so far?

2. Which is your favourite movie of the ones you starred in?

3. With who would you like to work in your future films?

Wish you all the best and thanx,
Slavkov

1) We certainly tried to make the best film we possibly good. It all depends on whether a distributor is willing to put up the extra costs to get it a theatrical release. We will see but it's definately a big possibility and something we all want.

2) Undisputed 2. I think it worked very well for what it was and the budget we had.

3) It'd be nice to work with Donnie Yen.

Hi Scott, I have a few questions if you get the chance to answer them:

1) What has been your favorite filmmaking moment/experience so far?

2) Any word on when The Tournament will be released in the US? The trailer on youtube looks awesome!

3) Since you are a man of considerable martial arts talent, have you found yourself in situations on films, where
cast or crew members try to challenge you? (Ex: Like Bruce Lee being challenged by extra on Enter the
Dragon.)

4) Finally, I read on the forum that you are an Oasis fan! (Good taste!) What are some other bands that you are
into? I have a few recommendations: Check out The Classic Crime, they just released an album called The
Silver Cord
that is simply amazing. And if you like heavier music, especially for working out and stuff check
out Project 86. All of their albums are good.

Thanks again for taking the time to do this! God bless you! - Dave Kratz

1) Ninja, Undisputed 2, The Tournament and fighting Jackie Chan in The Medallion.

2) The Tournament has a US distribution deal. I belive the picture will be locked this week. We should get a release date very soon.

3) Not yet and I hope I'm never confronted with such foolishness.

4) Third Eye Blind, Goo Goo Dolls, The Twang, U2. Rock & Roll mostly.

Hello again

You're being a really good sport with all these questions.

We've all got our fingers and toes crossed that 2009 will be your 'breakthrough' year as a mainstream action man. So when that time comes what will you do differently to the other action hereos past and present to give you the edge?

DD

DoubleDamme,

Thanks mate. I try to make sure that every action film I'm involved with have cutting edge fight sequences. I think I've achieved this so far except for The Shepherd, which is one reason why I was so dissapointed. I want audiences to know that I'm going to be giving everything I have in order to entertain and thrill them. I'm also not afraid to play different characters so hopefully it'll always be something a little different. I just feel very fortunate to be in my position and I'm determined to give it my best shot. We'll see what happens.

Pold,

Seagal was fantastic when he first appeared on the scene. Completly unique and great fun to watch.

Pold,

You're right, Seagal uses a stunt double more times than I've had hot dinners. Personally I refuse to have anyone double me for fight scenes but I'm simply not allowed by the producers to do full on stunts. In The Tournament I did everything myself except for smashing through a stained glass window. In Wolverine I did 100% of it myself. For Ninja I probably did more stunts than I've ever done on any movie but sometimes it's just not feasable to be in two places at once filming on 2 units. Thats the magic of movie making. We did one shot where a stunt man is in the foreground and I'm flipping over a gate in the background, you can't tell it's me so there was absolutely no need for me to do it but i did anyway. Also when I'm in the Ninja suit you can't tell it's me but I did it anyway but the big stunts (smashing through windows, getting hit by cars, jumping 3 floors) I leave to the people that don't need to stay out of the hospital. I have huge respect for stunt guys as I almost went down that road myself.

Fedor's a beast, wish he'd come and fight for the UFC title.

I'm a big fan of Mark, would be a pleasure to work with him. I'm suprised he never worked with Isaac.

hi Scott,

i don't want to bother you with questions i just want to say that Isaac, J.J. Perry and yourself make one heck of a team and i would rather have six 2 million budget movies per year made by you guys than only one with 12 million. i know i'm living in a fantasy world but i just wanted to get that off my chest.
please tell Isaac i really miss his whoosing noises.

i would also like to thank giangrosso or anyone else involved in making this happen and you for being such a sport.

greetings from Serbia!

sheba

honstely scott, i think the whoosing noises were overused by isaac is his older movies. it´s his older trademark but this works not for more serious movies with better budgets for me. so i was glad not to hear them in TS....and in U2 where they were used very rarly in the right parts with some comedy. that is the way it should be but in US SEALS 2 which is an awesome b-movie they were used so much that is was annoying. i also hope they won´t used anymore in serious fight scenes. this times should be over. only in decent comedy scene. isaac has now better budgets. he can to movies now more serious. isaac told me once why he did that noises in his older movies so often. i understand it. if you don´t have budget it would be a mistake if the movie takes itself too serious. the noises wanted to make sure of that, that movies were just fun first of all!
