Any lucky folks live in Malasyia? Apparently, Ninja is playing in theaters there starting today!!!! Why do they get first dibs?

Due to the amount of bootlegging in Malaysia, I'm expecting that/hoping that it'll be on DVD there soon, and HKflix, Redsundvd, or some other Asian import site will have it then - In English, Region 1 or 0, and NTSC compatible mind you

I totally agree JRserver23!!!!!! Even though I enjoyed watching The Tournament recently, it felt kind of like a tease that made me want to see Ninja even more! I say bring on the Ninja and bring it on NOW!!!!!!

Absolutely, my man. Now "The Tournament" was unreal crazy awesome, don't get that twisted, and seeing Scott fight the beautiful Kelly Hu was marvelous, even though we all know that the outcome would be totally different in reality Actually, "The Tournament" really runs circles around most mainstream action movies, and follows the sad Hollywood tradition of releasing all of the best action movies straight-to-dvd and letting all the half-assed crap go into theaters. It was quite awesome.
But "Ninja", from all the crazy awesome trailers and making of stuff that's been released on Youtube, looks like it might be Scott's "Enter the Dragon", and I feel like it does a real disservice to Scott, Isaac Florentine, and all of their fanz to keep us all sitting on pins and needles like this.
Like I said, hopefully it'll be on DVD in Asia soon after being released in Malaysia, and if it is, I'll just buy an import. I keep thinking that it's just gotta be soon, though, since they really gone all out promoting "Ninja" on Youtube in the last few months; they wouldn't be doing that if it wasn't supposed to be out in the relatively near future. But Scott's time has come, and the world is ready. LONG LIVE SCOTT ADKINS!!!!!

I really do hope scott makes it big, as he deserves it along with several other actors out there, though he should have also tried to be in The Exendables.. Scott with Jason, Jet, Dolph, Gary, Sly.. That would bring a tear to my eye..

I'm still pretty confidant that the stateside release date will now be announced pretty quickly on the heels of "Ninja" playing in Malaysia, and that'll still be between Nov.1 and Dec. 31, 2009. However, HKflix, Redsundvd, and any and every other website that sells Asian import DVD's, take note - when Malaysia officially releases "Ninja" on DVD, get it out online!!!!

I emailed Redsundvd.com the other day and asked them if they had any info about "Ninja". I got a message back saying that they were looking into it, and if they can get ahold of it, they'll be carrying it. I takes Redsundvd about a month from when a movie is released in Asia for them to to be able to sell imports, so that would be at about the end of November, hopefully. I'm watching over Redsundvd like a hawk now, since they'll probably have it before long, and HKflix shouldn't be too far behind either

I too could care less about the reviews for this or Ninja Assassin. Both of them I will love and will own as well as probally most of you, even if Ninja is more realistic between the two.
