I couldn´t wait and ran right into the premiere of wolverine!!

SPOILERWARNING....just discuss with me after watching

I have to say I love the wolverine comics (just those of him...I am not to much into the x men) and I am a fan of the deadpoolcharactere....

since I am familiar with the comics I can say they mixed up elements of his life wildly and tied them together different and changed quite some facts....BUT I have to say they did it quite well so that the story itself works and still stays true to the charactere and the wolverine sabertooth feud....

we meet a lot off different mutants...some just for a few seconds (why the hell is emma frost in there?? she just runs through the screen three times and has one line) and I would have prefeered to focus just on a few ones and get some more of them....

its basically all about wolvie...wich is ok...BUT I have a problem with the Deadpool thing!!! ryan reynolds does an awesome job as wade wilson...all three minutes he has....the wohole deadpool story is completely different...ok...But still cool....But with him dying in the end the charactere with SOOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL for an own flic is a bit wasted!!! (ok its hollywood and deadpool the freak of comic characteres...maybe they find a way to get him back)

appart from that deadpool waste wich really bothered me the movie is really fast paced and goes by way to fast...its not so much fighting as I thought but the action is really cool! I would have loved some longer fights here and there but ok...


the most important part:

the finale and scott:

First of all: LOCO did one hell of a job on the fights! Call me childish but I had the feeling in so many short engagements to see exactly where loco had his hands in...when wolvie does an ong bak flying elbow....or has some cool claw fights with victor...the action feels so much cooler and more true to the comics than in x men...

the finale with scott (yes...bla bla he is basically the body of weapon 11 and ryan gets his face cut in between...but scott is listed in the cerdits as weapon 11, ryan only as wade...and even a six year old sees its not ryan doing this things...so since you have to watch the credits for the final scene, more people will see the name scott atkins and may google it....PLUS I can´t wait on a blue ray disc special on the fights with loco and scott on the screen!!!!)

scott does some really cool stuff....you have to watch fast and close since it goes by real fast and is packed with teleports and effects, but you can still see some awesome and some very new moves!!!

To be honest I think we haven´t seen yet half of what scott is capable of and of his arsenale.......so I can´t wait for ninja and ud3!!!

it´s sad they cut ryan in between since scott is obviously in much much better sshape than ryan...so scott would have looked coller also in the close ups....but anyway...that is the game!

scottwise this was much much more satisfying than bourne!!!

so it is two thumbs up to scott and loco (no suckup...I really mean that from my heart as action fan) and a being happy with the movie overall! there are a few minus points for me as fan of some things but I liked it and will rewatch in the next few days...since this one is for the big screen and I wanna rewatch the fights to get them one more time!!

I really wait Scott's interview about this movie and i want to know, WHY Adkins did't play full episode with Weapon 11, he was really only stunt double of Ryan

well because ryan was wade and wade became weapon 11!!! it could have been confusing if there would be all of a sudden a different guy!

But I was happy he got listed in the credits as the role and not as stuntdouble for ryan reynolds!!!!
basically scott does 98% of the whole fights so its just fair....and don´t worry in the time of the internet and making ofs and so on many people will get it....

wolverine was still a great deal for him...to have such a movie in his resumee is worth a lot!

loco also said that all the people involved behind the scenes like producers was amazed with Scott!!


One of my mates seen the film last night and said it was awesome, im going to see it at the weekend.

It is awesome....so awesome that you wanna see more of the whole thing and in my case especially more of a few characteres...


I hope it gets a second part.....this one hints into the wolverine in japan storyline wich would be awesome (hugh also said he would love to do that part) and wich would give loco a great job opportunity......and I still hope they bring deadpool back in some form....either in the sequel or in an qon motion picture (and I hope either version involves scott!!!)

I saw the film yesterday, first available showing Like Boyka, I enjoyed it immensely - the story, the fight scenes, seeing all the younger mutants (it's set ~15 years before the first X-Men film).

Scott did a bang-up job as Weapon 11, but unlike Boyka, I thought they handled the cuts between Ryan Reynolds and Scott rather well, and I guess you could tell a little they were different actors, but I reckon they got away with it.

As for killing off Weapon 11 - I've heard a rumour that three different prints are doing the rounds. The one I saw ended with Wolverine in a bar in Japan, a definite nod to the Frank Miller take on it. One of the other prints is purported to have Deadpool / Weapon 11's head being retrieved and, I dunno, stuck back on?

It's a great film, nice and brief at 1h 40m, not some sort of sprawling epic, but rather a tightly-focused film, which is good. Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth was pretty damn decent as well, I wasn't sure how he'd work out, but like Kelsey Grammar as Beast, it was a surprising turn.

As Boyka said, the fight scenes were excellent and shot well, no shakycam here. All in all, 9/10 - a point deducted for not seeing more of Scott

It's great news. I hope in another big movie he will play not normal character, which can speak and has normal face. And i think Scott can successfully played both characters (Wade Wilson and Weapon 11)

really??? that would be too cool! Yes stuck it on would be enough.....
deadpool has no adamantium so he gets things chopped off rather often but puts it just back on....if someone would put his head on soon enough it would fit!

saw it again today! I enjoyed the fights now even more...with not looking at the overall action I saw even more of scotts stuff and loved the moves he does...some are pretty new and cool!

I would love to see thoose different endings!!!

ok i saw it last night and i loved it as for scotts role idk why they even had ryan for the close ups he didnt even do anything they should of just kept scott for the whole thing not like the audience would of noticed the difference and would of been better for scott

does anybody no something about the different endings?? I´ve seen so far the wolverine in japan endinh. and the weapon eleven garbing for it´s had wich mouth is cut open and says shhh....

there is still the rumor about an ending where wade comes and takes the head up and says and waht are you supposed to be...(so that weapon 11 is a clone of wade with all that abilities..) but i haven´t seen that one.....does anybody know something for shure?

I wanted to like Wolverine. (I certainly am still cheering for it because of Scott's and Loco's involvement.) However, I was disappointed in the overall storyline and the excessive use of FX/editing during the fights. When you have people like Scott and Loco, there really is no need to overly enhance the scenes with poor FX. I know that it is a superhero movie, but I think the director could've done a much better job and the writers could've come up with a much better story.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW!!!

Worst moments in my opinion: 1) Diamond girl special FX - what the heck?
2) Final Fight - Too many powers. Looked like something out of a bad Mortal Kombat game!

About movie: good action movie, but sometimes CGI is looks really bad + some mistakes in a simple script. All actors looks good. Movie has one of the best fighting scene, which i saw in blockbusters (more i like only fight (Hector vs Ahill) in Troy)

Scott and Loco: They did big, difficult and great work. I was disappointed when i saw Rayn's fase and body in a last fight (and it's bad then many moves from last video, was't used in final battle), but when Weapon 11 start move...i recognize Scott's gait, he was really incredible in this fight. His moves was fast and powerfull. And i laugh, when he kick Wolverine's and Sabretooth's asses. It was great. Thank you Loco and Scott. I hope after this movie we can see Scott in a big (NOT DTV) movie with good budget and Scott will be play a first plan's character and of course i hope i will see Loco's choreography in other blockbusters.
