thanks, it´s amazing how something can change 100% with different editing.

the lame and slow punch to scott from JC in the original looks here like a fast, hard and straight karate punch. this punch looks here damn good and fast and in JC´s sony cut damn slow and even a bit embarrasing for JC because of that.

so it´s all about the editing.

As far as I'm concerned, slow motion has only become a good thing if John Woo is at the helm of if it's the early 1990's. JCVD really screwed up with the fight editing in this one--I wonder why he thought it looked GOOD.

Or maybe he just wanted the fight to last longer by slowing it down.

i agree last ronin, john woo is very good with the slow motion in action scenes and does it well on the correct point. Slow motion should only be used on awesome kicks not little jabs or punches!

hopefully we can see the outcome when j.j perry sends me the fight concept from The Shepherd of what could of been. Sad

Does anybody here have connections to people around The Shepherd.
I would like too see the whole 7 minutes endfight.
I know from a close friend and actor that the scenes were shooted.
But he's not allowed to release this endfight.

Since this is the rehearsal fight we're going to see, will it be on stunt mats? And will it be done with one of those low-tech (sorta) camera's used for behind-the-scenes featurettes?
