Anybody see this movie yet? I really enjoyed. Surprisingly, it had a lot of fights in it and for the most part Liam handled them pretty well, especially for not being a MA guy! This was much better than the recent crap that Seagal and Van Damme have been putting out.

seagal and van damme are stucked and living in the past and their taste is crappy because they feel they have to be involved with choreography and editing the fights as well.

i will buy this movie for sure. it was directed by one of my favourite movie makers who is also a great dop. piere morel!

i have seen one fight scene and i have to agree. liam nesson looks better in this fight than seagal and van damme in their recent films but it´s all about the editing and choreography. seagal and van damme could look easily better but well...

I really didn't expect that. I saw the film 2 weeks ago and I think it is awesome. I didn't expect such well done fights from Leam Neeson. That may be the best action I've seen in months.

totally agree with you, mate. I think if JC and Seagal want to make their fights look good again they may try Taken's style. The fights look realistic, brutal and they perfectly mach Neeson's character (I mean we cannot expect from him to do round high kicks or things like that - he's not young nor he's a martial artist).

Unfortunately you are right, again. This way the German audience will miss the chance to see this cool movie in the theatres. The official site is still up http://www.96hours.de/ but on the fox's site the changes were made http://www.fox.de/cinema/coming-soon/ there's Far Cry intead of Taken. What a pity!

no problem to me, i can live with the DVD in any way. Wink it´s already pre-bought!

btw, the good thing is that JC mentioned this year that he likes the movie TAKEN and that his fights and action will go in this direction in the future.

he said that in cannes.

That's a shame! I think it is still due for a theatrical release here in the states. If not, hopefully it will do well in video stores.

i am already sure that it will be released DTV in germany and the USA but where´s the problem because this movie will get in the top 5 rental charts very easy and makes pure profit with great fan and press critics.
