Allright so I rewatched the movie and have a slightly different opinion. I got really, really bothered by the set pieces. Especially in the end where everything looked so fake which even made the fight less memorable. And what was up with the strange cult?? I never really understood who they were or what they even wanted. Well we do get to know they want the bitsu but never why they wanted it. Did it have special powers or something? Also the movie had this TV aura all over it which felt like a movie you'd watch on a sunday morning.
After watching the awesome Undisputed 2 I felt like Ninja was going to give us an even better movie. Instead it gave us a mediocre movie at best.

Thank god Scott is extremly likable and one hell of a performer. He actually saved the movie all by himself. His acting and fighting was really good and made the movie worthwhile. But I doubt i'll be watching it again. I'll stick to U2 and hopefully U3 will be awesome. I'd give Ninja a 5 of 10

they didnt want the yori bitsu, Mas did because he felt he was the chosen successor who was robbed of his chance to become the leader of the school. He used the rich guy and his cronies to try and get it for him while he was away.

Ah allright. But what did The Ring(was that the cults name?) want??

They were working for Masazuka since he called in a favor for the rich guy and his cronies. They just wanted to rule everything and uses Masazuka to do their dirty work to make it happen.

Would have been better if the leader was just some old oil billionaire instead of having his own cult. It just seemed so out of place.
