Jon Foo looks like a smaller version of James Lafferty.

well cung le is not really a wu shu guy...he is the real deal! he did san shu (chinese kickboxing with throws) for years and was an unbeaten champ....he made the transition to mma and is 4 and 0 there doing crazy spinkicks in the octagon!!!! he is an insane dude and a real martial artist and fighter!!

The cast look like their parts, and I'm sure with Cyril in charge of chreography, the movie will look great (at least in visual aspects)

I seriously am hoping they don't mess up this movie since Tekken is one of my "Big 3" favourite fighting games (the others being MK and Streetfighter - but they've screwed up SF already)

One thing I'm worried about is that the movie may not be a very faithful adaptation like the MK movie was.

Sure it will be flashy with all the cool action thanks to Cyril, but it seems they have the characters mixed up from different games.

Personally, I wish they would have left out characters from T4, 5, 6. If they wanted to include Jin (which I'm not really complaining since he's become the series' poster boy and is my favourite character), they should have just included characters from T1 ~ 3.

Currently missing characters that fans(like me) might have problem with:
King, Hwoarang, Paul Phoenix, Lei Wu Long

I like King and Paul also, so it is somewhat disappointing they won't be in the movie.

I loved his characters Nomac(blade 2) and Prince Nuada (hellboy2). Let's hope his Steve character is done well also.

Tekken movie is going to be shown in American Film Market on November 5th. For those of you who don't know, the AFM is a marketplace where producers and sales companies license films to distributors. The AFM is not a festival, and there are no competitions or prizes.
It is said to be that screening for this film will be a premiere event.

Also, the running time is 92 mins.

I'm happy to hear this, but I guess it won't start moving until the distributor actually signs the "dotted line". Also, they would market the movie, so I wouldn't expect to see the movie to be released until 1st quarter of 2010.
