Ok im not very good at reviews but here goes.
Ok in regards to entertainment i thought this was the best film since replicant, acting wise for jean claude this was nowhere near the standard from until death/wake of death.
Good points
* Van Damme did show us some new stuff, i loved the kick against the chair and the little jump when he fights in the prison. So he can do something new its just a matter of him wanting to.
* Scott was great, i loved the kick he does after he chucks the gun against the guys head, that definatley got a rewind and watch again moment
* The music i really liked it, the best was when jc walks into the bar (as desperado is one of my fav films) it was really cool to hear that song in a jc film.
* I really liked some of the angles the fight was shown in as you could see everything, rather than being up close and seeing hardly anything.
* Alot more action than previous films, like bus chase and gun use etc
* i really loved the sound effects of the fights, really powerful. Also i loved the over the top spins after kicks thats what i wanted to see
* obviously jc and adkins fight
* Scott really stood out in the film and out shone the villian, i dont see why they just didnt have scott as the villian
Bad points
* The end fight - you can definatley tell this was edited. the thing that puzzled me was both Jc and Scott did great things in fights before so it made you expect something better for the end fight. i would of preferred jc to do that little jump in the end fight or scott do that kick i mentioned above. So something is def missing in regards to that fight. But the fight is still cool.
* i felt like i was watching until death with seeing the bar and same cast members which was bit down putting.
* Stephen Lord - I felt he wasnt ruthless enough and didnt show why he was the one every1 looked up to, to me it felt like why is scott character taking orders from him. To me Stephen's character in eastenders is 100% better and that would of been better. I know this is not stephens fault but his accent didnt feel right for the badguy i would of preferred how he is in eastenders.
* There was hardly any acting from jean claude in this film, i think scott spoke more than him and he wasnt even the villian.
* The end was just to be honest crap - how stephen lords character died i was like wtf!! i think that again was editing of it. i didnt even notice if it landed on him or not.
theres still probably more iv missed off but like i said im crap at reviews!!

this is def a van damme pleaser but i did expect abit more from this.
