Not what i thought it would be like,i kind of expected that from Scott's interview but i wished that Scott's fighting parts in the movie, would last longer.JJ's part was fun though... :) Undisputed 2 was way better than this one :(

to be honest, that was my guess from the start that JC could fuck up the film because of his ego when he is doing a film with scott adkins who is easily able to steal him the show. to be honest with you, i almost hate the shepherd because of that. it hurts watching the movie after knowing so many details. it hurts.

i do not why but i believe JC asked the producer to send the director at home that he can edit the movie on his own for free. anything else does not make sense now.

the result is a waste of potencial. i want ninja and undisputed 3 as soon as possible to forget this disapointment.

I know others will disagree with me. But I don't think JC ever wanted to star in a martial arts film with Scott.

JC offered Scott smaller roles in SIC and UD, I think just to keep Scott sweet. The roles he offered him would of been a waste of time.

I think JC would be a little worried to star in a full blown martial arts film with Scott. Simply because Scott is so good!!!! As much as I admire JC for what he has done in my life, I don't think he can compete with Scott.

This is also why I think JC edited the film. All the good moves were removed.

I do feel really sorry for Scott, he got stitched up at the beginning and got kicked in the nuts at the end. Why JC did not put any effort in the last fight is obsurd. I mean, he is working with JJ, Isaac and Irit. The team who bought us U2.

I am really gutted about the overall result from TS. I cannot say it enough.

Nofear...as so often I think you are right mate...I think the same...

I guess for me ts is pretty much forgotten as a film itself.....I like it for some "Scott" moments and for the probably best two jc fight we have seen of...well maybe for the rest of his carreer...who knows right now...

I am looking foreward to the real footage by JJ to get a glimpse of my hero and my former idol...I gave up on JC´s taste, ego, desie for martial arts and action...I just want to se him work with scott on JJ´s true coreo...

for the rest...I stopped wishing stuff for JC´s movies...they won´t happen, so I let myself surprise...and all concering Scott...well can´t wait to see any new movie!!!!

all of you guys are wright,I mean come one, everyone knows that Scott would take down JC in a fight simply because he is good and he knows his abilityes wich are great,so why didnt JC pic someone else for Scotts role, so that JC himself can take all the credits?someone like..."Gary Daniels"...anyway undisputed 3 will be the greatest martial arts movie ever made.Scott doesnt need any favours he can make it on his own.he proved that in undisputed 2.

To be honest...he wouldn´t look so much better against gary daniels theese days....and well gary in his prime had some awesome moves...more than JC, but JC was always more gracefull...so they were always pretty even spmehow...only gary can´t act at all! But theese days gary is still doing all his moves...and JC..well he dosen´t want anymore...

i have never seen before so much half hearted fight moves from JC as in the final fight of TS. even in the first two fights he looked like was tired of doing it. even his famous kicks looked amateurish in the end. like done from a robot.:-( scott was cool in TS regarding his fights but due the bad editing and over use of slow motion in his fight scenes they were not as brilliant compared to U2.

no hate on van damme now. Yes the movie was a disaster but JC will always be the greatest(well if you ask me). And the scene where he talks about his life in JCVD is one of the most touching scenes i have ever seen. I can't belive i would actually get tears in a van damme movie. Shows how much he has changed as an actor.
His best movie definately

I agree, JCVD was one of the best movies I have seen since Derailed..... Just kidding. But it is one of the best I have seen for years, that is serious too.

I agree though, JC wasted a lot of opportunity in TS.

I can't say how much I agree with all of you. I remember when they have started to film The Shepherd and how much I was excited to see Van Damme vs Adkins! I am a VD Fan since Double Impact and I still love a lot of his (older) movies! I also love some of his newer movie's aswell, such as Wake of Death or Until Death. But he did a very very bad job in editing The Shepherd! I don’t know why a martial arts star like him will do a movie with Isaac Florentine and not want to do martial arts. That doesn't make sense. I mean it's well known, that Van Damme doesn’t like to do much fighting these days but he really had an opportunity to do something great with The Shepherd. Jean Claude had been concentrating on his acting in recent films and it definitely shows. In my opinion, we shouldn't blame him. He don't need to proof anything, he have done a lot of great action movie's and he deserve's respect. But of course, I would love to see him fighting again. Anyway, TS is a disappointment and Im looking forward to Undisputed 3! :)

Everybody know this. If JCVD and Scott would have sparred, Scott would have made JC look silly.
