Ninja assassin's release date has already been confirmed as 25 November 2009 a long time ago(and not even a teaser trailer has come out for that movie - although a lot of training and behind the scenes videos can be seen on youtube).

Ninja, also scheduled to be released in 2009 already has 2 trailers(nearly same but varying slightly) and the rooftop scene, but I still don't seem to be able to find a release date(what's taking them so long???)

It would be good to know if this will be direct-to-DVD or a theatrical release. Scott put so much dedication into this film(like he does in all his films, but it does seem he went an extra mile for this one), hope this will be his big break.

its all waiting on the distributor on what they want to do with the film and when it will be released, hopefully we should hear something soon as cannes as finished now

"Splendid" bought the rights for Ninja in Germany ... the release is mentioned for the end of 2009. I think it will be DTV.

This is direct-to-dvd release(23 November) with limited screenings in Malatsia for Oct 22?

It would have been better to have it release worldwide on that date.

It seems so. The first site I quited reports that the release date is now 01 January 2010.

It´s hard to wait for this film after so much great promotion.

I really was hoping they would release this along with The tournament, but alas that is not happening.

This behind the scenes video is being released in three parts over the course of two weeks, with the third and final part set to come online this Wednesday. That, coupled with "The Tournament" coming out on Oct. 20, and "Ninja" being released in Malaysia on Oct. 22, leads me to believe that the stateside release date of "Ninja" will definitely be between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009. And since the third and final part of the making of video will be online on Wednesday, it makes think/hope that maybe the stateside release date of "Ninja" might very well be announced shortly after the fact, maybe even on the same day. I could be wrong, but it's a gut feeling I'm having.
Any thoughts?

Well. if the US release date is in 2009, shouldn't it have been announced already?

I'm not really too hopeful because I think it is unlikely to get a theatrical release where I live.
